BUILDINGSMART

DEUBIM is a long-term member of  buildingSMART e.V. - German Speaking Chapter. We are engaged in diverse relevant working groups to promote BIM in Germany and shape the standardization. Furthermore, we are member and speaker of the regional buildingSMART groups Rhineland and Berlin-Brandenburg.

DEUBIM is also actively involved in buildingSMART International,a non-governmental non-profit organization which, as a parent organization, coordinates the work of the national chapters worldwide and defines international standards for the BIM method. As a member of the Executive Committee and the Industry Advisory Panel of the buildingSMART International Professional Certification Program. DEUBIM actively shapes the BIM certification standards representing Germany. In addition to our active employer involvment, we also promote the Professional Certification Program Initiative as a main sponsor to promote international BIM use.
